QUICK ANSWER

What is the first review?

The first review identifies the enquiry type, property, electricity information, existing equipment and intended outcome. It helps determine whether more information, a technical assessment, a repair route or a maintenance route is appropriate.

The online form is not the final technical design, quotation or compliance assessment.

The project may fall outside the service area, available capabilities or current information threshold.

ENERGY ASSESSMENT FAQ

Questions, answered.

Direct answers about the first review, supporting documents, quotations, existing systems and service coverage.

What is an energy assessment?

An energy assessment is the structured review of the property, electricity use, operating or household priorities, existing equipment and intended outcome before a technical route is recommended.

Is the online form the full technical assessment?

No. The online form gathers the first information. Suitable opportunities may then move to further information requests, remote review or an on-site technical assessment.

What documents should I submit?

A recent electricity bill is the most useful starting document. Existing-system enquiries should also include equipment labels, error codes, photographs and any available system records.

Does submitting the form guarantee a quotation?

No. The initial review determines whether the enquiry is within the service area, whether sufficient information is available and what the appropriate next step should be.

Can I use the assessment for a repair or maintenance request?

Yes. Select the existing-system route and describe the fault, maintenance need or equipment already installed.

Where does KYN Energy assess projects?
